they say when a girl starts to love pink again, it means she’s healing. I definitely had a “not like other girls” phase growing up, and if you asked me what my favorite color was, up until about two years ago I would’ve said purple. but one day I looked around, and I had accumulated so much (millennial) pink that I really couldn’t deny any longer that this is the color I gravitate to, which probably means it has always been my favorite color!

Coffee and Cake

Everyone will probably know who I am, but that’s okay! Pink is my favorite color to the point that it’s become a personality trait. When I saw this prompt I knew I had to make my picture as pink as possible and I own so many pink things it was hard to narrow it down. I decided to bake a cupcake and use my favorite pink mug. The backdrop is made of pink pastry boxes that I had in my closet. I hope looking at this photo brings out your inner Barbie! 💕🌸💗💞💘🌷👙🩷👛

This works doubly, as my favorite color is silver and grey is close enough, but yeah the theme we are going for is ✨grey✨. And oh who’s that? You’ll never guess who’s in the picture or who took it😱.

We are on a vacation currently and the weather is like this most days; Cloudy, rainy, misty, foggy. But I’m going to argue it adds so much to the aesthetic. 

We were driving along on our way to something completely unrelated, saw the cove, and just had to pull over. Something about the just beauty of this grey landscape, the over look to the ocean, the trees, and nature, the rocks. It’s just perfect. My subject happened to be perfectly dressed for the occasion and thus we get this grey masterpiece. 

Standing there, looking out over the water in utter silence is sertenly in the top 10 most peaceful moments of my life. As I said the raininess of the day just added so much to the view and made the whole moment feel perfect. Just this time to reflect on life but also be present in the moment. To think about how life not only is now but in the future. To think about stories you’re told as a kid and stories you hear about places like this. It’s euphoric really, the tranquility of the vast grey landscape really is overwhelming in the best way.

Sure, it was suggested to avoid nature but how can you not with this sunset? Color featured: Gold

This was taken off the side of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. I just adored this shot with the tones of Gold. This trip has been incredible and produced so many amazing shots but this is probably my favorite. Its so pretty, the perfect sunset, and just a cute couples picture.

Little known fact. My family came over to the United States as masons. They have a history in a local town for having down all the brick and stone work or at least a majority of it. Things like this always make.me appreciate where I came from

Sorry for natureposting but my favorite color is green and my favorite green is Outside and my favorite backdrop for green is sky and my favorite kind of sky has these long thin marbling clouds that I don’t know the name of but do know the feel of. 

I love how many shades there are in this photo. There’s deep emeralds, lush pears, rich dills, soft sages, and even some vulnerable olive, in the back, in the middle. Green is the most beautiful color to me because it’s also the most malleable, the most adaptable. Green is the color of Life, and like life itself, green changes with its surroundings. Look how many greens here are brighter and yellower with the sun, deeper and bluer with the shadows. Some of the green isn’t even green anymore or never was green in the first place (there’s a little patch of keratinized leaves, on the right, that’ve bled bright red in the middle of the summer). I love the town I live in, too. It’s so green. It cares to be green. I’ve lived in towns and been to places, states that aren’t interested in being green and I became not interested in living in or being in those places because I can’t live without green around me because green, to me, is living, is life, is me.
